We can offer basic first aid medical training at work to fully simulated trauma incidents. This can take place at your workplace or at our designated UK training facility. Offering nationally accredited courses with experienced instructors our team can ensure you are fully trained to a high professional standard.

Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 2)

This medical training course concentrates on resuscitation skills and techniques to stabilise a casualty prior to the arrival of medical aid. Interactive session utilising multimedia presentation, review of real life incidents, syndicate exercises, group participation and discussion. Course will give an understanding of the basic essentials of Life Support and in the initial overall management of casualties, and pre-hospital care situations.

  • This course is for employees designated as “Appointed Persons”. Concentrates on resuscitation skills and techniques to stabilise a casualty prior to the arrival of medical aid.
  • Duration: 1 day (six hours)
  • Level 2 emergency first aid at work (EFAW) certificate, valid for 3 years. We recommend refreshing your skills every 12 months

 

First Aid at Work (Level 3)

This course concentrates on resuscitation skills and techniques to stabilise a casualty prior to the arrival of medical aid. Interactive session utilising multimedia presentation, review of real life incidents, syndicate exercises, group participation and discussion. Course will give an understanding of the essentials of Life Support and First Aid necessary in the initial overall management of casualties, and pre hospital care situations.

  • For employees designated as workplace “First Aiders”.
  • Duration: 3 days
  • Level 3 first aid at work (FAW) certificate, valid for 3 years. We recommend refreshing your skills every 12 months.

 

First Person on Scene (Basic)

The FPOS Basic qualification is designed to provide learners with simple but effective skills and knowledge to enable them to provide immediate care in the first few minutes of an emergency. Classroom learning in an indoor and outdoor environment. Courses can be bespoke for client specific needs.

  • Aimed at those involved in providing initial emergency care, such as Community Responders, Fire and Police Officers and Security
  • Duration: 2 day
  • IHCD First Person On Scene courses are designed for those involved in providing initial emergency care.

 

First Person on Scene (Intermediate)

The FPOS Intermediate qualification is the full first responders programme, designed as to provide learners with simple but effective skills and knowledge to enable them to provide immediate care in the first few minutes. Classroom learning in an indoor and outdoor environment.

  • Aimed at those involved in providing initial emergency care, such as Community Responders, Fire and Police Officers and Security Staff.
  • Duration: 5 days
  • IHCD First Person On Scene courses are designed for those involved in providing initial emergency care
