The Role

The SDR should be an ambitious, enthusiastic and articulate individual, with confidence to play a key part in the sales and marketing strategy, that makes an impact in a well-established yet rapidly expanding business.

This is a hybrid role between sales and marketing and your key responsibility is to build relationships with new and existing leads. To be successful in this position, you will have sales experience and a proven track record to develop relationships that deliver profitable business, and enhance our already well-established reputation.

You will support the business development and marketing teams and have a strong aptitude to engage with leads via telephone or email platforms, with an interest to develop digital automations to optimise sales opportunities using the CRM.

This role is for you if can build successful B2B relationships and have a keen interest in current affairs or the tech industry. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with leads via outbound calls to qualify and engage with potential clients.
  • Build email campaigns and automated journeys within the CRM, including an ongoing test and learn plan to continually improve communications
  • Use customer data to design and optimise segmentation and content approach for personalised customer journeys
  • Highly collaborative with excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to communicate, present, negotiate and influence effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to build sales and marketing emails and craft automated email processes.
  • Utilise CRM effectively to track lead source, feedback, and conversions to support ROI metrics.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Innovative, self-reliant and ability to prioritise working on multiple projects at once

Education and Skills

  • Goal driven and target-oriented
  • B2B sales experience, ideally within tech, SaaS or risk management industries
  • Knowledge of working with a CRM (HubSpot or similar)
  • Experience creating email campaigns in platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp or similar.
  • Track record of working towards sales KPI’s, including calling targets
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Native or fluent English language skills for writing and proofing copy
  • Experience using Sharepoint and MS Office

Job Summary

  • Location: Office based role in Poole, Dorset 
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Salary : £25-28,000 + commission structure. OTE: £35,000
  • Holiday: 23 days + bank holidays

Offshore Marine Coordinator

Solace Global Maritime are currently recruiting highly motivated, experienced security personnel adept at offshore risk management, for a vessel-based project in the UK that started in June 2022. 

The project will run until December 2023. Contractors are not required to remain on task for the entirety of each phase, however, the minimum tasking period will be 30 days. If you are willing to deploy for longer than the initial 30 days, please let us know on application.  

All personnel will conduct training with Solace Global Maritime prior to the project starting.
