Intelligence Analyst

The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the provision of professional and effective analysis, advice and guidance to: clients, employees, contractors & Directors on all matters relating to global risk and intelligence collection/analysis.


The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the provision of professional and effective analysis, advice and guidance to clients, employees, contractors & Directors on all matters relating to global risk and intelligence collection/analysis.

Accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • The role holder works with other analysts to oversee all alerting and analytical reports produced by all Solace Global staff.
  • Assist the Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) to oversee the country report production and event alerting by the Response Managers and as required focus their attention in the right geographical places.
  • Provide training and feedback to Response Managers from an intelligence perspective where required
  • Assist the SIA to ensure the company has the right intelligence feeds to collect the appropriate level of information.
  • Ensure the company has the right intelligence analysis software to ensure the collected data is processed appropriately.
  • Write bespoke intelligence reports as per client requirements including but not limited to pre-travel advisories, desktop risk assessments, due diligence and on-line investigations.
  • From the intelligence perspective assist the Software Developers and Customer Success Manager with enhancements to our proprietary risk management platform, Solace Secure.
  • From the intelligence perspective assist with client presentations.
  • Coordinate with marketing and business development to ensure that our intelligence products and the Solace brand is promoted to support business growth.
  • Provide marketing with bespoke reports to assist in the digital marketing of Solace.
  • Develop and evolve Intelligence products and processes to better address market needs.
  • Produce Maritime reports in support of our maritime division, SGM, where required.
  • Support Risk and Maritime Operations when required.
  • Maintain awareness of global events to support more detailed travel advisories and intelligence products.
  • Set up of monitoring systems to trigger notifications to SGR of relevant attacks and incidents globally and more bespoke during monitoring periods in support of high risk travellers/client locations that are paying for dedicated monitoring services

Response Operations Manager

Solace Global Risk is recruiting for a Response Operations Manager for their headquarters in Poole, Dorset.

This is an entry level role into risk management based at our 24/7 operations centre. This vital frontline role sees applicants working as part of a team delivering risk management services to our clients across the globe.

Purpose of job: 

  • Frontline response to emergencies, protecting people, assets and reputations.
  • Monitoring of global events, proactive and reactive alerting and notifications.
  • Management and oversight of ongoing on and offshore operations.

Accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Intricate knowledge of Solace Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Incident /Emergency Procedures.
  • Keep Solace customers and staff safe wherever they are in the world.
  • Focus on allocated region for intelligence, country reports and special reports.

Main Duties:

  • Monitoring of security and other events globally.
  • Monitoring of Solace staff and customers globally.
  • Advising customers and staff 24/7 about events that impact them.
  • Screening, prioritising, grading and publishing security alerts into the Solace Secure Platform.
  • Conducting short-term analysis on specific events and writing advisories.
  • Maintaining country reports within their designated Area of Responsibility.
  • Providing security advice for customers intending to travel or already in locations around the world.
  • Scoping, proposing, contracting, planning and managing journey management tasks around the world for corporate customers.
  • Liaising with and building the Solace Global Provider Network.
  • Responding to crisis events around the world to keep customers safe, including if required immediate lifesaving advice protocols through to managing their evacuation to a safe location.

  • Ensure operational records are completed correctly; to satisfy internal and external audits, these critically include export control regulations and restrictions.
  • Ensure Company reputation, ethos and unrelenting pursuit of excellence is maintained to an impeccable standard by all contractors.
  • Use judgement and experience to rectify/troubleshoot issues that may arise.
  • Support to commercial team as required.
  • Represent the Solace Operations Centre in meetings as required.

Offshore Marine Coordinator

Solace Global Maritime are currently recruiting highly motivated, experienced security personnel adept at offshore risk management, for a vessel-based project in the UK that started in June 2022. 

The project will run until December 2023. Contractors are not required to remain on task for the entirety of each phase, however, the minimum tasking period will be 30 days. If you are willing to deploy for longer than the initial 30 days, please let us know on application.  

All personnel will conduct training with Solace Global Maritime prior to the project starting.
