Client safety when out in the field is paramount to Solace Global, therefore the Response Managers keep a watchful eye over all our customers and their every move as they travel around the world. We’re tasked with creating, planning and then informing the customer of their upcoming journeys. Alistair joined Solace Global after returning to the UK from living in New Zealand for three years, where he assisted with the rebuild of Christchurch after the deadly earthquakes. Prior to this he lived and worked in Sydney, Australia for a year and travelled extensively around South East Asia. His calmness under pressure comes from his time taking 999 calls for the Ambulance Service in the UK.
Ben joined Solace in 2016 as part of the in-house software development team. Ben specialises in App development having studied programming at university.
A mathematics graduate from the University of Warwick, Ben particularly enjoys building things, be it his bike, or a complex multi-threaded program.
Ben finds greatest satisfaction in his work when it's for the benefit of others, he says, even though he has built himself a “Ben app” for keeping himself organised.
Working on an intelligence platform in the interest of the safety of others seems the right fit. In his spare time, Ben is also an avid cyclist and runner trying to always improve those numbers, being a mathematician.

Solace have always met our needs; responding positively and quickly to feedback. We have open, clear and responsive communications channels 24/7, 365. Solace Global are central to our security program.
We have been working with Solace Global for approximately 18 months, where they provide Maritime Security Officers for our Indian Ocean transits. The professionalism, dedication and assistance of their security teams to our Masters and Crew have fulfilled our expectations. Their attention to detail and associated services such as intelligence reporting have also been a major factor in our successful partnership. We would not hesitate in recommending their services to any potential client and we look forward to a continued relationship.
I have used the services of Solace Global for many years. The personnel Solace have supplied to our ships over those years have without exception been first rate. Their professionalism, dedication and assistance to Masters has been beyond reproach and they have quickly assimilated themselves into the crews as respected and professional individuals. When their security duties allow, they have supplemented our expedition teams in acting as Zodiac Drivers and shoremen in support of the Zodiac operation.
