Intelligence, live visibility and security response in one platform
Solace Secure is a travel security platform that brings verified intelligence alerts, visibility for both users and facilities, communication tools and 24/7 security assistance into one connected view. Developed in-house with our own operations team, it helps security teams identify who may be affected by an incident, confirm their safety and coordinate the response.

— TURN ALERTS INTO ACTION
What is a travel security platform?
How Solace Secure Works
Go from intelligence alerts to action in two clicks. See who and what may be affected without switching between systems, and act from the same screen.
Map View
The main map brings alerts, travellers, remote workers, contractors, facilities and scheduled itineraries into one view. Filters and layers let security teams narrow to a region, a risk category or a user group, so a busy picture stays readable. Clustered alerts consolidate nearby activity, with the detail one hover away.
Alerts & Intelligence
Every alert is verified, risk-rated and geo-located by an analyst before release, then matched against the people, itineraries and facilities it affects. Country and city reports are delivered to travellers ahead of departure, and for higher risk or complex journeys our intelligence team produces a tailored pre-travel advisory based on destination specific risks. Custom notification rules control who is alerted and when, so alerts stay relevant.
Live Location
Live Location shares up-to-date positioning directly from the traveller’s device, giving teams a clear understanding of where individuals are in relation to planned routes or nearby incidents. Tracking is activated by the traveller within the app and can be used for specific journeys or timeframes, keeping it aligned with internal policies and privacy considerations. Up to 48 hours of location history is available to support incident review.
Check-in Schedules
Automated check-in schedules can be triggered by user group, office or facility, country entry, custom geofence or travel activity. Users are prompted to confirm their safety at agreed times. If a check-in is missed, reminders and administrator notifications are triggered, and where GSOC oversight is included our team works to confirm safety and escalates in line with your SOPs.
Geofences
Create tailored boundaries around facilities, destinations, routes or areas of concern, and receive alerts when users enter, leave or approach a defined area. Geofences can also trigger check-in schedules and targeted messaging, so monitoring adjusts automatically to where someone is.
Facilities
Offices, compounds and project locations are plotted on the platform map alongside travellers. When an incident occurs nearby, administrators can assess the potential impact on both the site and the people associated with it, then communicate from the same view.
Mass messaging
Reach individuals, user groups or everyone within a mapped area by SMS, email, push notification or phone. Messages can be sent from the messaging screen, the People Panel, the activity feed, a geofence or a facility, and responses are tracked so you can see who is safe and who still needs follow-up.

— SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
Configured around your organisation
Solace Secure is configured around your structure, protocols and risk appetite during onboarding, so what your teams see reflects how they actually work. The platform can grow with your organisation as your risk appetite changes, and we work with you to ensure you get the appropriate level of protection.
Tailored to your requirements: User groups, permissions, notification rules, geofences, check-in schedules and reporting are all set around your organisation. Where you apply your own internal risk ratings, those take precedence within the platform.
Integrated with your systems: Our technical team handles TMC and GDS booking feeds, Single Sign-On, HR integration and user provisioning, working directly with yours and supporting your internal security reviews.
Onboarding, on us: A dedicated Customer Success Manager is included through scoping, configuration, testing, training and launch, with quarterly reviews to ensure maximum protection as requirements change.
— BEYOND BUSINESS TRAVEL
Security monitoring for remote workers and facilities
Risk does not only apply to people on a trip. Solace Secure covers business travellers, executives, families, remote workers and contractors, alongside the offices, compounds and project locations your organisation operates.
Facilities are plotted on the platform map, so when an incident occurs nearby, administrators can assess the potential impact on a site and the people associated with it, then communicate from the same view. For organisations with dispersed teams, this gives one picture of exposure across the whole workforce rather than one population at a time.

— DESIGNED FOR USER ADOPTION
The travel safety app your people will actually use
A travel security app only works if people engage with it. The Solace Secure mobile app is designed for travellers rather than security managers, with an easy to use interface, straightforward emergency functions and check-ins that take seconds to complete.
Through the app, travellers can access country and city reports, receive alerts relevant to their location, confirm their safety, share live location when they choose to, and reach the GSOC directly through chat, call assistance or SOS.

FAQs
Solace Secure is a purpose-built travel risk management platform that gives organisations real-time visibility of their people, itineraries, and global threats in a single system. It combines traveller tracking, human-verified risk alerts, pre-travel intelligence, mass communication tools, and direct access to a 24/7 Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) — so security managers can monitor, respond, and evidence their duty of care from one place.
Solace Secure supports duty of care at every stage of a journey. Before travel, it delivers country-level risk reports and pre-travel advisories. During travel, it tracks traveller locations and sends verified real-time alerts. After an incident, it maintains an audit trail of every briefing, check-in, alert, and communication — providing documented evidence of risk mitigation measures in the event of duty of care litigation.
Yes. The platform and associated services are structured around the ISO 31030 travel risk management framework. ISO 31030 sets out the requirements for identifying, assessing, treating, and monitoring travel-related risks. Solace Secure supports each pillar, from pre-travel risk assessment and traveller briefings, through live monitoring and incident response, to reporting and continuous improvement — helping organisations demonstrate alignment with the standard.
Solace Secure tracks travellers across booked itineraries, live GPS location (via the mobile app), and facility or office check-ins — all visible on a single map view. Administrators can set up scheduled check-in windows with app notifications, and the system flags missed check-ins automatically. For higher-risk environments the platform also integrates with external GPS devices, and travellers can raise an instant SOS direct to the 24/7 GSOC.
The platform monitors global events continuously and delivers human-verified alerts filtered by proximity to each traveller or facility. Rather than raw alert feeds, analysts at the GSOC validate, prioritise, and contextualise events before they reach your security team — reducing noise and ensuring every notification is actionable. Alerts can be customised to your risk tolerance, travel policy, and traveller tags such as VIP or contractor.
Yes. Solace Secure is specifically designed to support travel in complex and high-risk environments. It overlays destination-specific threat data directly onto traveller itineraries and dashboards, and security managers can set custom policy alerts to deter travel to restricted locations. When escalation is needed, the integrated GSOC can activate in-country crisis support, deploy vetted security partners, or coordinate emergency response.
Solace Secure is built for both travel managers and security professionals. The map dashboard shows travellers, facilities, geofences, and active alerts at a glance. Itineraries can be added individually or bulk-imported, travellers can be segmented with custom tags (e.g. VIP, Board Member), and mass SMS or email communications can be sent directly from the platform during incidents. Reporting modules allow security teams to build and export filtered reports by destination, traveller, date, or risk level for compliance reviews and board briefings.
The platform maintains a full audit trail of pre-travel security briefings, alerts received, check-ins completed or missed, and communications sent. Real-time and historical reports can be filtered by destination, date, traveller, and risk level. This documentation is critical for organisations needing to demonstrate compliance with duty of care requirements, health and safety legislation, or ISO 31030 — and provides defensible evidence if an incident leads to legal scrutiny.
Solace Secure is directly integrated with Solace Global’s 24/7 GSOC, meaning the technology and the human response capability operate as one. When the platform detects an incident near a traveller or facility, GSOC analysts verify the alert, assess its relevance, and can immediately contact the traveller, brief the security manager, or escalate to in-country response teams. Travellers can also trigger an SOS from the mobile app at any time, connecting directly to the GSOC for immediate support.
Solace Secure is used by a broad range of organisations that send people overseas and need to meet duty of care and corporate security obligations. This includes multinational corporations managing frequent business travel, NGOs and non-profits deploying to complex environments, government and institutional delegations, media organisations covering live events, and companies with staff or facilities in high-risk regions. The platform scales across tiers — from organisations starting their travel risk programme to those requiring full 24/7 GSOC integration and active incident management.
Solace Secure works alongside the physical security services we provide, so the same team sees the picture and acts on it. When a traveller needs support on the ground, the platform gives the GSOC their location, profile and journey details, and our operations team can coordinate secure ground transport, a journey management plan, or a protective security team through our global partner network. Technology provides the visibility, experienced people coordinate the response
Yes. Executive protection can be arranged for individuals or groups travelling to higher risk locations, and it is coordinated through the same platform and the same GSOC. Travellers, itineraries and any assigned security team appear on one map, so security managers can see where their people are and who is with them. This also supports monitoring for executives, family members and other high profile travellers, whose requirements often differ from routine business travel.
