Elections for Hong Kong’s new Chief Executive will be held on 26 March 2017. Three individuals have been nominated to run for the post of Chief Executive of Hong Kong, the highest office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (HKSAR). The incumbent Leung Chun-ying announced he would not seek re-election in December 2016. This makes him the only Chief Executive to serve only one term.
